You can’t build a house, or a horse on an unstable foundation. When the foot functions correctly, the entire body can move in harmony.
Every Horse Deserves a Strong Foundation
For more than 25 years, Sarah has dedicated her career to understanding the equine foot.
Not simply trimming hooves, but restoring balance, improving movement, and helping horses return to soundness.
As both a lifelong horsewoman and dressage rider, Sarah understands that healthy movement begins at the ground. Every recommendation is based on biomechanics, careful observation, and evidence-based hoof care rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
Throughout her career she has worked with horses across a wide range of disciplines, with a particular passion for rehabilitation cases including laminitis, negative palmar and plantar angles, chronic lameness, and horses requiring therapeutic support.
Her goal is always the same: to help owners create healthier, stronger, more comfortable horses through thoughtful hoof care and education.
Her education includes:
25 years of professional barefoot hoof trimming
Apprenticeship and clinic with Lisa Huhn, developer of the Equinextion Therapeutic Trim
Advanced clinic with Pete Ramey, founder of HoofRehab.com
2024 Equine Podiatry Applied Theory Certificates through EPC Solutions Equine Partner
Recognition and correction of negative palmar and plantar angles
Therapeutic farrier application
Radiograph interpretation
Metron distal limb analysis
2026 graduate of The Hoof and the Manual Therapist through the London College of Animal Osteopathy
